Depature is Almost Here!
Three days until departure! We'll arrive in China on Sunday morning, and take custody of Alli on Monday. But, we'll be 13 hours ahead of NC. So check out the blog on Monday morning and we should have some pictures and an update of our first day with her!

Official Invitation to Travel
We received our official Invitation to Travel to China from the Center for Chinese Adoption Affairs on January 21, 2009, which means that as soon as we can arrange for our Consulate appointment we can book our flight and get to China. Our entire family is excited about this most recent development. Although Lisa and I have mixed feelings about going being away from Andrew, Bailey, and Michael a couple weeks, we can't wait to finally see Alli face to face.
